Nobody...

In a few hours' time, the people of Permatang Pauh constituency will cast their votes for a new MP. It'll take a brave man (or woman) to bet against Anwar being elected.

Winning or losing, depending on which side of the fence you are on, comes with a price to pay. The fear of losing reveals all human weakness and character flaws, even for the fence-sitters.

Let's face it, Malaysia's will never be the society that we all can be proud of calling "home" if some of the politicians and lawmakers wouldn't know how to stop making a fool out of you and me by parading their own uglinesses to the rest of the world. Period.

Nudibranchs

Nudibranchia - "Art Forms of Nature", 1904

Nudibranchs are the shell-less relatives of the snail and are known for their garish colors.

These tiny sea creatures are usually only 2cm - 6cm in length and can be found worldwide.

They are able to thrive in any depth of salt water from the deepest darkest ocean floors to warm shallow water.

There are over 3,000 known species of nudibranchs, but only half have been discovered so far.

The creatures' short life span of 1 year make it possible for many of them to live undetected and vanish from the earth without a trace.

Nudibranchs are blind, and the animal relies on smell, taste and feel to navigate their surroundings to find coral, sponges, eggs, small fish, and other nudibranchs to eat.

The current state of Malaysian politics is also "colorful", and the government is so pathetic and blind, that one wonders whether their lifespan is also like the nudibranchs - ONE year?

Sorry seems to be...

the most ridiculous word.

In the soccer world, authorities anywhere never ban soccer matches just because of hooligans. The police kind of know which teams have notorious supporters. They don't stop people going to stadiums because they suspect there might be crowd troubles on match day. Instead, police will be out in force to protect the innocent ones for those matches considered to be high risk.

So, if Pakatan Rakyat is supposed to be the organiser for today's demonstration, we all know that their last gathering at Kelana Jaya stadium was in festival mood and the most aggressive act was courtesy of the lead singer of a rock band who dropped his pants.

Massive jams, Syed Hamid says sorry (The Star online - Monday July 14)

KUALA LUMPUR: Police roadblocks leading into the city caused massive jams throughout Monday morning, with Home Minister Datuk Seri Syed Hamid Albar issuing an apology to the Malaysian public but reiterating that the police operations were undertaken in the interest of public security.

Police roadblocks caused massive jams in KL

Home Minister

Mr Minister of Home Insecurity, I am sure you were not late to the parliament house, but many people were late for work.
